Helping Pupils Grow, Learn, and Thrive

At Hill Croft Special School, a dedicated practitioner from Clady Water Farm – Equine Learning Centre brings Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) directly to the pupils. The programme supports children with severe learning difficulties to learn, connect, and grow, building confidence and skills that extend beyond the classroom.

During weekly sessions, pupils take part in hands-on activities such as leading, grooming, and guided exercises, helping them develop independence, communication, teamwork, and emotional resilience. Every accomplishment—big or small—contributes to personal growth and a sense of achievement, allowing pupils to grow, achieve, and develop skills in a safe and nurturing space.

Your support makes this possible. Donations fund the expertise of our practitioner, the care and wellbeing of the ponies, and the resources needed to deliver sessions that are engaging, safe, and transformative.

Your generosity helps pupils at Hill Croft grow, learn, and thrive. Every donation supports confidence, skill-building, and unforgettable experiences with their ponies—creating a foundation that will stay with them for life.
